Our chemical loading and unloading arms are offered in standard configuration for top loading, bottom loading or unloading of various chemicals and industrial products. However, some aggressive chemical products require specialized knowledge and equipment for a safe, efficient product transfer. Each WSI chemical loading arm is custom engineered to match the exact nature of the product being handled.

Standard chemical bottom loading arm congurations are often used for chemical and industrial products; however, all products require specialized knowledge and equipment for a safe, ef cient transfer. Each WSI chemical bottom loading arm for tanker or truck is speci cally engineered to match the exact nature of the product being handled. These are not petroleum loading arms with different elastomers.

W740 long reach (unsupported) bottom loading arms for chemical and industrial products are ideal for loading/unloading tank trucks and rail cars. The long reach enables greater exibility with miss-spotting or obstructions from other rail car and tank truck equipment. The W740’s long reach and signi cant miss-spot capabilities are due to a swivel boom that extends “unsupported” from the riser on the stand post. This provides an extra plane or rotation and allows the loading arm to track a distance along the bottom side of a rail car, or bottom side and rear of a tank truck.

W740 features a 2-plane Style-70 Outboard swivel joint with handle at the outboard end.

Outboard connections are typically dry-beak coupler, hammer union, cam and groove coupler or lap ange to suit the application. Breakaway couplings and purge systems can be incorporated as required.

W940-H ‘A’ Frame bottom loading arms for chemical/industrial products are ideal for loading/unloading tank trucks and rail cars. ‘A’ Frame loading/unloading arms are best suited for narrow lanes or where servicing both sides of the lane is required. For tank trucks, ‘A’ Frame bottom loading/unloading arms can also service the rear of the vehicle.

W940-H has a exible drop hose and a 90° Style-30 Outboard swivel joint with handle at the outboard end.

Outboard connections are typically dry-beak coupler, hammer union or cam and groove coupler to suit the application. Breakaway couplings and purge systems can be incorporated as required.
