WSI's Petroleum product range of loading & unloading arms are specifically designed for refined fuels such as gasoline, lube oil, diesel, kerosene, naphtha and ethanol. Whether for top loading of tank trucks or rail cars there is a WSI top loading arm to suit the particular application. Whereas, for bottom loading & unloading multi compartment fuel trailers or a single compartment rail car there is a WSI bottom loading/unloading arm to suit the particular application.

All loading & unloading arms are modular design with TTMA flanged connections of all the major components, thus allowing simpler arm configurations and superior maintenance capabilities. Inlet flange connection is ANSI #150.

TOP LOADING ARMS

WSI's Petroleum product range of top loading arms are specifically designed for refined fuels such as gasoline, lube oil, diesel, kerosene, naphtha and ethanol. Top loading arms are offered in standard length configurations or custom sized to suit the exact application.

All WSI top loading arms are designed and manufactured within our certified ISO quality management systems and in line with ASME B31.3 Process Piping code. All top loading arms and swivel joint assemblies are100% hydro tested. Dye penetrant testing and Radiography carried out to required specifications. Full manufacturing documentation and MTR’s can provided with each loading arm. Standard paint finish for carbon steel is shot blasting to SA 2 ½ and Poly Urethane RAL 7035 paint finish. Specific painting specifications also provided. If required, TPI will be provided.

Variable reach loading arms have a secondary pipe and additional swivel joint that provides an extra plane of orientation once the fixed primary tube has been locked in to position. Some crossover is achievable with variable reach loading arms

W300 long reach top loading arms for petroleum product are ideal for loading/unloading multi compartment tank trucks without having to move the vehicle, or for where significant miss-spotting is likely, i.e. when connecting with a line of coupled rail car tanks. The W300’s longer reach and significant miss spot capabilities are due to a “swivel boom” that extends “unsupported” from the riser on to which a fixed reach loading arm is attached. This provides an extra plane or rotation and allows the loading arm to “track” a considerable distance along the centerline of the tank truck or rail car

W400 long reach top loading arms for petroleum product are ideal for loading/unloading multi compartment tank trucks without having to move the vehicle, or for where significant miss-spotting is likely, i.e. when connecting with a line of coupled rail car tanks. The W400’s longer reach and significant miss-spot capabilities are due to a “supported swivel boom” that extends from the riser on the stand post and to which a fixed reach loading arm is attached. The supported boom allows for even longer range and/or superior weight carrying capacity than the W300 “unsupported” model. The supported boom provides an extra plane of rotation and allows the loading arm to “track” a considerable distance along the centerline of the tank truck or rail car.

BOTTOM LOADING ARMS

WSI’s range of bottom loading arms for petroleum products are specifically designed for refined products such as gasoline, diesel, kerosene, ethanol, and lube oils etc. Whether for bottom loading multi compartment fuel trailers or a single compartment rail car there is a WSI bottom loading arm to suit the particular application. All bottom loading arms are of modular design with TTMA flanged connections of all the major components, thus allowing simpler arm configurations and superior maintenance capabilities. FEATURES

  • Designed in accordance with API RP 1004:2003
  • Standard size is 4” however all models are available in 2”, 3” x 2”, 3” and 6” for vapor recovery, fleet fueling, rail car and river barge application
  • Base Joints are all carbon steel with Split Flange swivel joints, either WL2 Dual Race or WSS Single Race
